Sangeeta joined IBM (USA) in 2002 as a part of Pricewaterhouse Consulting acquisition, with rich international experience in the field of Information Technology. Since coming to IBM she has served as a Cognos Subject Matter Expert and has been teaching Cognos at IBM for last 5 years, along with consulting.

She has more than 10 years of hands-on experience working with Cognos and has worked as Technical Lead in both private and public sector projects. She took on multiple lead roles for IBM’s product design and development of WorkForce Analytics during its inception, working closely with the Cognos Software Development group. She was also co-presenter at the Cognos User Forum in Boston presenting with the Client the Cognos solution in Education industry and speaker at IBM’s Business Analytic Forum, Information on Demand.

I thought this book was going to be from the beginning explaining everything related to IBM Cognos, but it does not show how to start and is for more somebody who already has experience, I kind of regret the money I paid for this book as I started reading and have not continue, not really the complete guide for me.

This is probably one of the best 'Camp Country' cookbooks I have ever seen. Coming from a long line of campers, and western style cooking enthusiasts, this book has it all! The recipes are simple and easy; the pictures will inspire you; and the content will make you want to go camping even if you don't camp. This book would make an ideal gift for your 'outfit'.

A Definite Book for the Cook

I received the original book, titled, High Country Cookbook, from a relative who saved her Marlboro Miles for it. It was privately published. I had been searching for years for another copy to give to my sister for her extensive cookbook collection. So you can imagine my joy when I found it here at Amazon. The recipes are colorful and delicious! Priding myself as an experienced cook I couldn't do without many of these recipes. By the way my sister also loves it! Another must for the cook who wants some variety.

The title says it all

Nothing all too complicated or deep but in today's world of e-communication, these little lessons are great for those in positions requiring face-to-face interactions. As a trainer of professional interviewers, I try to use these tips myself while often purchasing multiple copies to use as gifts to my trainees.

A good overview of the basics

This book gives you many techniques to get along with people and bring people around to your way of thinking. It's a short book and doesn't go into much depth, but gives you enough to understand a lot of human behaviour and how to get along with people. In many ways it's a much abridged version of the classic "how to win friends and influence people", which is much longer winded and has many more examples, though this book has a little additional content such as information body language and how to tailor your communication for men and women.

Just Read It!

Whether your goal is weight loss or to thoroughly enjoy the food you eat, this book is a must read. The author writes in a clear and gentle voice that guides the reader through a simple and effective approach to eating. She supports her approach with plenty of research and her years of experience and training in the field of mindfulness based strategies for health and well-being. I read the book in a day and have found myself eating less and enjoying it more. Don't pass up this delicious gem of a book that shines above others in its class.

If you're tired of dieting and your negative relationship with thoughts of "beauty", your body and food, this book is for you. It's very easy to read and is a very practical and accessible way to simply rethink and reconsider our hunger and how to really nourish what we're truly hungry for.

Honest and thourough

I got this book for the following reasons:

The Modern Main Line with Bd3, Nf3 and h3
The four pawns/Taimanov flick-knife
The Bf4/e3 line that has been topical recently
The Fianchetto lines with g3

I was hoping that he would cover something other than ...b5 against the Modern Main Line, and in fact he devotes a chapter to alternatives, because in playing ...b5 you're really only going for one result (a draw) against a strong player, and in my opinion that kind of defeats the purpose of playing the Benoni. He gives really nice and active ideas against the Bf4/e3 stuff, and I wouldn't say that he refutes Avrukh's g3 Benoni line, but white certainly seems to be struggling.

The four pawns is definitely a critical test of the Benoni, and those positions are certainly messy, but he does a good job of outlining black's resources and ideas.

I'm an FM, and I thought the book was chock full of good information. It might take a little while to actually understand what you're reading if you're a Benoni virgin, but it should be worth it. One of the things I like most about this book is his departure from the Avrukh approach in his Grunfeld books. One of the most frustrating things about those Grunfeld books is that he just trys to reach dry equality. I really appreciate Petrov in this book for his eager dives into complications and dynamic situations that a Benoni player wants.

A benoni learner will love this book

Quality chess has always put out ha quality books. This is no exception. I've read the older Benoni books and this carries those books that much further. I've played the Benoni for many years and felt I needed to adjust a few moves here and there see why my position in thevbenoni was incorrect and why my pieces were all tangled up in key positions.

This book covers all the lines and he doesn't get too technical but briefly explains what could happen if you head in the wrong direction, Definitely biased towards the black pieces. If you're playing the Benoni with black you can't lose. A fun read for Benoni lovers like myself with the black pieces. Did I say black has the edge here. You,all notice that in the book.

Tired of Losing to 1. d4? Play the Benoni!

This is a very good book on the Modern Benoni. The plans are clearly explained and variations are logically laid out in the popular "variation index" style. I have searched for years for a reliable defense to 1.d4 and this book finally gave me what I needed. The Nimzo- and Queen's Indian defenses are my favorite defenses, but I didn't like that white could sidestep them both with 1.d4 Nf6, 2.c4 e6, and then 3.g3, heading for a Catalan set-up. The Benoni not only is an excellent reply to this set-up, it can be played against any 1.d4, 2.c4 opening. Highly recommended. If you are thinking about buying this book, I also suggest "Attack With Black" by Valery Aveskulov.

Quick read

This was an improvement on the first two novels by Jenny Frame. I thoroughly enjoyed Annie and Riley, and Harry was interesting enough. The idea of bringing an estate back to life provided an interesting backdrop.

The relationship between Harry and Annie gravitated between sweet and infuriating. I loved the gestures from Annie and Harry's relationship with Riley, but the back and forth of 'I need a commitment' and 'I can't be what you need' drove me nuts. Over, and over and over for half of the damn book, and then they reversed positions until I just wanted to scream. But it did manage to avoid a trope that I assumed would pop up, so kudos for that.

It's a fairly quick read, and an improvement from this author. Quade was also an interesting secondary character, I'm assuming a possible sequel for her.

3 1/2 stars. I thought this was a better effort from the author's last two books. It was a pleasant read, but I found the writing and the plot simplistic. While the book started off well, it quickly went into a formularic, too sweet romance with little happening in the last third of the novel. Harry's self-recriminations got very wearing by the end.The plot could have been enhanced by more depth in the supporting cast. The lesbian vicar was a great character, but the reader was only given a very sketchy profile. Bringing a noble estate back to its former glory was an interesting backdrop and more could have been done with that, rather than the constant back and forward "will I, won't I." of the two main characters.

A Pretty Good Read

3 1/2 Stars. This is my first book by Frame, and I thought it was pretty good. Being from the USA and not really knowing titles, I just assumed this book would be a historical romance. I soon realized, when a character said "smartphone", that this is a current book. I actually think I liked it more because of that. It was a current romance, but still made you feel like you were stepping back in history. The story is about a housekeeper, Annie, who moves her daughter into the grand house of the new Countess, Harry Knight. Harry doesn't want to be a Countess, she only wants to renovate the home to it's original glory, than move on with her life. As sparks seem to fly between Annie and Harry, they don't know if they should take a chance or run far away.

I was up and down on liking the characters. I could not stand Henrietta (Harry) at all, in the beginning. I did like the other main Annie, to start off with. But as the book went on, the characters swapped for me. I started to find Annie very annoying, and I realized Harry was really a damaged kid, in an adult's body. As Harry grew, as a character, I grew in my compassion for her. The one character, who did remain consistently likeable, was Annie's daughter Riley. She was absolutely adorable, and one of the better written kids in any LesFic book. She added to the story and the relationship between the two mains.

When it came to the romance of the book. That was also a bit up and down. Get ready for some angst! There was so much "I want you, but I'm running away". This, and the on and off likeability of the main characters, is what stopped me from rating this more than 3 1/2 Stars. Now, there was some good romantic parts, and even parts that made me feel enough to tear up. The sex scenes were pretty well done also.
I'm going to recommend this book to romance fans, that like some angst in their books. And also don't mind going through some ups and downs, and quite a bit of indecision.

I have always wanted to start my own fashion company, but didn't have a guide on how to do so. I don't live in New York City, am actually in the middle of the US, so there aren't any ready resources for me.

More Than I Expected!

My reason for starting a fashion company began with the need to design clothes for my daughter & myself that are stylish yet not revealing, but the idea overwhelmed me. I came across this book online months ago and had no intention of purchasing it because after reading other books claiming to assist, I still had so many unanswered questions & it seemed like a waist to buy another one. I asked God to help me and left it alone. About 2 weeks ago the idea popped into my head again and I immediately thought I should buy Cherie Bixler's "How To Start A Fashion Company". I am so glad I did! I felt like I was in a personal Q & A Session with the author! I devoured it in one night! It's very easy to read & very encouraging. I would recommend this book to anyone starting a fashion company, ESPECIALLY if you feel overwhelmed or are second guessing yourself & feel you could never do it. I don't know that you can, but you'll certainly feel like you can by the time you're through the first chapter!

Excellent Fashion Guide

I found this book to be extremely informative and helpful on how to begin a fashion line being a fashion merchandising graduate. I have purchased many fashion books and they never break it down by steps you need to know. This book removes all the fluff and gives you the insight on what exactly is needed,expected, and the process to begin your fashion line. It offers pics and examples as a guide. I had been looking for a fashion book to offer to help you with the first steps since I have been hitting dead ends. I was very happy to have come across this book. My top favorite. It's exciting to get great information from someone who has been in the industry for so long and was willing to help others with their knowledge.The author also has her own business which can be very useful. Highly recommended for beginners.
